This little mouse, dressed as a bunny to collect carrots (and why not?), is a brilliant new kit by Corinne Lapierre which is all cuteness and really fun to make. We love her bunny ear headband and the tiny little daffodils in her apron! 🥰

This kit contains all you need to make her (needle, templates, DMC threads, wool mix felt, toy filling and ribbon) and is available in the shop and on our website

Peas in a Pod crochet kits are back on our shelves!

Kate from Cult Crochet makes a brilliant range of bright and fun chenille crochet kits, and this is one of her most popular. All materials are supplied, including the crochet hook and yarn needle, along with a booklet of easy to follow instructions with colour photos to guide you. The pea pod measures around 27cm long, and the peas all come out and can be easily squished back in.

Hand stitch your own piece of textile art with this beginner friendly kit by Ravenglass in Lancashire!

Slowstitching is the meditative and creative practice of handsewing with intention and thoughtfulness, and in this kit Erica from Ravenglass supplies a selection of various fabrics pieces (some with handprinted text), buttons, threads, needles, and a unique free motion machine embroidered crab, so that you have all you need to invent your own picture. The backing fabric is 6" x 6" which is how big your final piece will be.

If you need a little puffin like this in your life you can needlefelt one with this brilliant little kit by Scottish based Crafty Kit Company.

Our example was felted by textile artist Justine Williamson who loves watching the puffins at Bempton Cliffs, and made this one a little fish to hold (not included).

The kit contains 100% Corriedale felting wool, felting needles, pipe cleaner, recycled foam mat, glass eyes, armature wire and full colour easy to follow instructions.

Marleen Crab was very happy to join me for a wander and a few photos on Cromer Beach today! 

Marleen is one of the latest crochet kits to be released by Hardicraft based in the Netherlands. She's made from lovely soft 100% organic cotton yarn which is included in the kit along with instructions, toy filling and safety eyes - you'll just need a 2.5mm crochet hook. Your finished Crab will measure around 9 cm across, and there's also a little white hat in the kit but Marleen opted not to wear that today! Available in the shop and on our website 🦀

We love Sincerely Louise's knitting kits! Especially this magnificent seagull from Louise's 'Beside the Sea' collection, which was launched here with us in Cromer. Hannah from the Handmade Florist has been working on some beautiful new kits including this one featuring Narcissus in a variety of soft yellows, oranges and whites 😍 The kits contain all your materials and full instructions - you'll just need some scissors to cut out your pieces, a hot glue gun to assemble them, and a little jar or bottle to display them.

We also have Hannah's lovely new snowdrop, bluebell and cherry blossom kits, and a range of her larger bouquet and wreath kits. Available in the shop, and now on our website too!
