Congratulations to My little Brother Ad and Our Sophie who tied the knot in April.

These pair gave me an outline of what they liked and kind of just left me to it… its extremely nerve-wracking doing wedding flowers for someone you know but also so rewarding!

It was an absolute honour Adam Williams Sophie Williams I loved every second of creating them!

When Our Daisy married her Harry 🤍

Daisy was my amazing Saturday Girl many moons ago! I still miss our saturday birds eclairs and hilarious chats together, not to mention her mega cleaning skills!
It was an absolute honour to create her wedding flowers. We created a classic garden broken arch for the ceremony along with centrepieces to match.
Daisys dress was INCREDIBLE and didnt need a bouquet that would fight for attention so i created a dainty posy with lots of texture and detail.

Pinterest can be amazing for finding styles, colours, and ideas — but it has also completely distorted expectations around wedding flowers.
A lot of the weddings people save are luxury productions with huge budgets, large teams, and flowers flown in from all over the world… but they’re presented as if they’re achievable for everyone.
Your flowers do NOT need to look like a celebrity wedding to be beautiful.
The goal should always be creating something personal, seasonal, and realistic for your budget 🤍
Find a florist that can create the look and match your budget. Look at their previous work and ask lots of questions! We are here to help you and create beautiful arrangements unique to you.

Improvise, adapt, overcome!

I know some of you have been missing the Monday flower quiz. And due to insta still not playing ball, i am trying something new…

Bridal bouquets are made to stay fresh through a full day:
Flowers are conditioned in advance
More robust stems are often chosen
Construction is tighter so nothing shifts or falls out

• The bouquet often includes premium or symbolic flowers
Bridal bouquets tend to use higher-end blooms and sometimes include meaningful elements—family heirlooms, specific flowers with symbolism, etc.

• It has a different technique.
Florists often use specific techniques (hand-tied spirals, wiring for delicate blooms, hidden mechanics) that aren’t necessary for a simple bunch.
In short:
A bunch of flowers is made to be looked at.
A bridal bouquet is made to be held, photographed, and remembered.
