Amethyst is often associated with peace, healing and tranquillity but the reality behind some mining operations can be very different.

Without proper ventilation and protective equipment, miners may be exposed to dangerous silica dust, putting them at risk of serious and irreversible lung disease.

That is why we work directly with trusted suppliers and only source amethyst from mines where workers are provided with appropriate PPE and paid fairly.

Ethical sourcing should protect the people behind the crystals, support local communities and help build a safer, fairer industry.

Share this with someone who loves amethyst.

True crystal beauty should never come at the cost of exploitation, unsafe working conditions, or conflict.

Knowing where crystals come from and working with trusted suppliers closer to the mines helps create a more transparent and responsible supply chain.

Every purchase has an impact, so choose to have a positive impact by being mindful about origin and sourcing. This helps support a more ethical crystal industry.
