Without proper ventilation and protective equipment, miners may be exposed to dangerous silica dust, putting them at risk of serious and irreversible lung disease.

That is why we work directly with trusted suppliers and only source amethyst from mines where workers are provided with appropriate PPE and paid fairly.

Ethical sourcing should protect the people behind the crystals, support local communities and help build a safer, fairer industry.
