Summer isn't over yet..... 🍦

I love this time of year. The slow transition into Autumn is welcomed after the blistering heat of the summer. The shift from waffle cones and dripping ice cream and finding a spot to sit in the shade from the heat of the sun to scoops of your favourite flavours with your tea time puddings is slowly merging. Sitting outside with a bowl full of ice cream before it gets too chilly......

Our ice cream isn't just for summer, its made all year round with the milk and cream from our magnificent dairy cows ❤️

🍦🐄 🪩 Edenbridge & Oxted Show 2026 🪩🐄🍦

Thank you to everyone who came and found us Edenbridge & Oxted Show by the cattle rings, said hello, bought ice cream, shared their pics, shouted about us, supported us and the wonderful show bursting with everything that is brilliant about the British countryside and farming. Every share, like, comment means an awful to a little business like ours!

Thank you to my fabulous team who allowed me to flit between the showing of cows and ice cream selling! I couldn't have done it without them!

We took 4 of our Becketts Mead Pedigree Ayrshire cows. Jagger at 13 years old who has just had her 11th calf!! A very special cow to Ian and us all who started us dipping our toe in the showing world. Along with her daughters June and Judy and her grand daughter Julia, a real family affair! Some great results in the ring, very proud of the boys for showing them.

For us its about showing people the link between the cows and ice cream. The love for our cows and what they produce.
You'll see Jaggers name on the side of many our tubs of ice cream as her milk goes in to a lot of the batches.

Back to it today, washing up and getting orders out. September is busy and not looking like its slowing down just yet....!! 🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦

Freshly picked figs from Sharon Green tree, deliciously creamy Taste of Eridge ice cream and a balsamic glaze makes for the most dreamiest pudding ☀️

This is my absolute taste of summer 🩷

We are really looking forward to seeing you all again this year Edenbridge & Oxted Show! We will be in the same spot as last year, right next to the Cattle show rings selling our ice cream from our converted horse trailer, The Disco Dairy.

A great spot to enjoy an Eridge Dairy ice cream and watch the Cattle showing classes on both Sunday and Monday.

We will also be showing some of our pedigree Ayrshires. You can get up close to our girls whose milk go in to our delicious
ice cream.

An introduction to the show girls coming soon!

Lets hope for fantastic weather again this year!

And so it begins.... Calving 2026 is go!

Helen surprised us with twin bull calves 2 weeks early. Both healthy boys feeding well and Helen is a superstar as always.

Two years ago we made our first batch of ice cream in our dairy using milk and cream from our own herd here on the farm in Eridge 🩷

What started as a small idea alongside the day-to-day of dairy farming has grown into something we’re incredibly proud of.

From the early mornings to late nights, the problem solving, creating delicious flavours, to being organised 😱 and serving ice cream from the Disco Dairy trailer and ice cream bikes at local events, spectacular weddings and parties, it’s been a busy couple of years.

Everything we make still starts with our cows and the quality milk they produce, they are the stars of the show and we love that they are becoming firm favourites of our customers. Keeping things local, supporting British farming and making a product we genuinely believe in has always been important to us.

A huge thank you to our stockists, pubs, everyone who has bought an ice cream, booked us for an event, shared our posts or supported us along the way. We’re incredibly grateful 😊

Happy Sunday ☀️ Relaxed happy girls in the warm morning sunshine.

The Dairy cows are starting to be dried off one by one to enjoy a well earned holiday before their calving due dates.

Only a few weeks until calving season starts, eeek! 😊🩷

It might not mean much to some but this was always going to be a super proud milestone for Eridge Dairy! 🎉

It meant we reached a point where we could indulge in our branding and order the branded wafers we always imagined we would have right from the beginning.....

Our look is rustic, our branding is completely unique to us and our delicious ice cream is simply the star of the show✨️
