Some loves begin in childhood and quietly follow you for a lifetime. ❤️⚜️
My love for Byzantine art and architecture began with a trip to Kykkos Monastery with my family. I remember being surrounded by ruins, ancient walls, gilded details and a sense of opulence that felt almost otherworldly.
I think that feeling stayed with me.
From my A-Level Art days, through years of studying art history, architecture and the beauty of the past, those influences have continued to shape the way I see the world — and ultimately the way I create.
The gold, the grandeur, the ornamentation, the history, the romance of it all… they have become part of my visual language and, in so many ways, part of my fashion brand, bringing ancient Byzantium to modern day🪡
And now, seeing those childhood inspirations woven into my work and brought to life at London Fashion Week feels incredibly emotional.
