Oh my.... we opened to a stunning delivery today. It is small but glorious. Photos do not do them justice! A restock of some of our fabulous panels. Incredibly sparkly tapestry gonk and tapestry baubles...the shimmer has to be seen in person. William Morris always seems to sneak into a delivery and today we have the Willow Bough in a fantastic cotton lycra base . Van Gough Tapestry Starry Night is definitely trying to steal the show. So much goodness in a small parcel!

Good morning. Today is the launch of the new Autumn/Winter yarn by Hayfield. It's a lovely marl! I'm going to say that on the ball this beauty hides it's secrets well. Just look how it makes up! All the colourways in stock. It's a chunky weight yarn, and only £3.65 a ball. As an aside, I've had quite a few appointments which means I've not always been able to be in the shop. I'm catching up on admin and getting the last few fabric parcels quoted for posted x

We are open till 3.45 today. Thanks for your patience when we had a couple of days away from the shop for my youngest to downtime and get ready for the new school year ahead. It was her 16th last week which seems incomprehensible really. We are back on regular hours now. Please remember our drop in and classes will also resume. We know the business climate is harsh but please know that every like, comment, share also really helps with getting the word out.

We are back open! Now that the Scottish Schools are back I'm going to miss having the company of my gorgeous girl. I do have lots to sort out though. See you all soon

Shop Closure

As you are all aware, the shop is very quiet during the Summer holidays so we have been on reduced holidays.

We also haven't had any time off the last couple of years, so I am going to embrace the current stillness rather than worry and take the final week of the school holidays away from the shop.

I will probably still be hanging around somewhere as I have a job list that is way too long so if anything is urgent give me a holler.

We will close at 2.30pm on Tuesday 11 August and return on Wednesday 19 August at 8.30am, where we will be back to our usual hours of 9 till 3.30.
