Just a week until the Mindful Art Workshop at McOyster!

Fluid art is perfect for mindfulness as it encourages us to focus on the flow and movement of the paint and interaction of the colours as the painting develops, keeping us present in the moment and creating a calm amidst the chaos.

Workshops run for approximately 2.5 hours and the cost of £30 per person is inclusive of all materials and refreshments.

During the Mindful Art workshops, we cover various fluid art techniques and use these to practice mindfulness. You will be guided through some different techniques and shown how different effects that can be achieved by using various tools and methods, before giving you the opportunity to pour your own creations. During the creative process, we will take some time to reflect on the present moment and practice some mindfulness.

The next class is on Saturday 6th June at 2.00 til 4.30 at McOyster Crafts in Cupar.

This weekend, access to our amazing carpet department will be interrupted for 3 days while we celebrate 40 years of Poles Apart and McOyster Crafts in Cupar. We apologise to anyone who had planned to chose a new carpet this weekend, but we can assure you that the showroom will return to normal on Monday 😁
