This Ford Transit Custom customer contacted us due to various problems with the audio system. Mainly no radio signal, poor quality & the drivers side speaker not working.

The vehicle was fitted with the finest Temu special, which was the first thing we recommended changing.

We replaced this with the new Kenwood DMX F920DS 9” Floating Screen Media System. It’s now has -

🟣 Wireless Apple CarPlay / Android Auto
🟣 DAB Digital Radio
🟣 HDMI Input

We connected the existing reverse camera to the unit too

Onto the speaker fault, we stripped the door down and found several broken wires between the van and the door loom (common Transit fault). After repairing these wires, we had full door functionality, including sound from the speaker again ✅

Unfortunately these are the new flavour of the month to steal! Smart choice made by the customer. This lovely Toyota HiLux is now protected with a Scorpion X Series Canbus Immobiliser.

The vehicle’s is now fully immobilised unless you know the custom set, 4 button sequence which has been set, preventing -

❌ Key Relay Theft (Scanning Doors)
❌ Physical Key Theft
❌ ‘Fast Start’ OBD Plugs
❌ Additional Keys Being Programmed
