January's Wagon of the month is the V1 - 30 Ton Mink F.
These large vans were built by the GWR in two lots - 2 in 1904 and 6 in 1911 - they were built as a scaled up version of the famous 'iron minks' (though the Mink F was steel). They lasted till 1954 - though two were used as stores vans till 1966.
Our 7mm kit consists of Brass etches together with lost wax Nickel Silver and whitemetal castings, sprung buffers and couplings. The kit is £95 - or £121 with Slaters wheels - £5 for UK postage.
