I would just like to remind everyone that I will NOT be growing plants for sale this year! The only plants that I MAY have will be those that will be surplus to my own requirements and ONLY available at Colvend Produce and Makers Market that is held every 4th Saturday of each month from March until November at Colvend Public Hall. I will have a few Hosta, Aquelegia & Solomons Seal available at the next market if anyone would like to buy any. Anything else will be there NEXT month, it will be "pot luck" as to what I have so come along & have a nosey.

I'm loving the look of this new fabric! It's a beautifully soft 100% cotton so should wash a treat. Size 1, with the yellow trim, is suitable for little ones up to approximately 3 years old and the larger size fits up to about 10 years. If you would like 1 for your little monster then come along to Dalbeatties very first market on 5th March at the parish church hall as I shall have them there, along with lots of other things.

Cosied up in my work room today trying to ignore the sound of the wind and rain outside, so I turned the volume up on my CD player & got to work on these. I was lucky to be able to get some more of this fabric as I had sold out completely of these lovely childrens aprons, not anymore though!

I know that I've been pretty quiet on my page recently but I have been incredibly busy beavering away behind the scenes! I have a very busy month coming up with the very FIRST Dalbeattie Market on Saturday the 5th March then the first of this years markets for Castle Douglas & Colvend, Sunday 20th and Saturday 26th respectively. I do hope that you can make it along to at least 1of them & show your support for local small businesses 😘

This coming Saturday is Buittle Castles Christmas market! The market will be open from 11am. There will be loads of lovely gift ideas as well as hot food & drinks and castle tours so come along & check it out. 😊

I have been asked a few times if I have any Quince jam, well now I HAVE & it's all thanks to my lovely friend Elisabete Chan! I have never made or even tasted any before but, provided that I can get some next year, I will definitely be making it again as it's rather scrummy. Don't just take MY word for it, get yourself down to Buittle Castle Christmas Market NEXT Saturday and you can try it but, be warned, there is only a few available and I can't see them being there long! The Market will be open from 11 am until 4 pm so do come along and get some before it sells out 😉

We celebrated our last Market of this year in STYLE! No power, no internet, no mobile phone service BUT some fabulous stallholders and plenty of marvellous customers! Thanks to everyone who braved the Baltic conditions and turned out to support our little Market 🤗

Saturday the 27th is Colvend market. This is my last market of the year! I will be taking orders for Christmas, including Christmas afternoon teas.
Come along and support local! 😄 … There will be Gin from Art Distillery… just saying!🤣😂
