It is with great sadness we announce the passing of John Metcalfe on the 22nd January in FGH.
Known as the "piano man" John's passion was the shop and music in general, whether that was playing in the ceilidh band or Morris dancing.

Liz, Amy and Emily would love anyone who knew John to join us in celebrating his life at Thorncliffe Crematorium
Monday 9th February 11am, and afterwards at the General Burgoyne Urswick.

And here we are, 26 years later after our opening day, we closed the shop for the final time.

It has been a fantastic journey, many customers have become friends. Thank you for your loyalty and support over the many years! John, Liz, Amy and Richard.

Don't forget we are still selling pianos on appointment and tunings continue as usual.

A big hello and thank you to all our present and past customers but the time has come to close the music shop side of the business.

N.B. This does not include either the Korg digital or acoustic piano sales. The tuning element of the business is unaffected. Please phone or email The Full Octave as normal.
