💜 This is what real change looks like. 💜
Our amazing SEND Friends at Toyland Toyshop Darlington have gone a step further following our SEND Friend Training last week.
They didn't just attend the session and leave it there. They took what they had learned, spoke with the relevant people within their organisation, and have now created their very own Quiet Hour.
Even more incredibly, the Cornmill Shopping Centre will also be supporting this by switching off the music in the main shopping mall during that hour, helping to create a calmer, more accessible environment for so many children and families.
This is what change looks like.

This is what partnership looks like.
And this is what a community can achieve when people genuinely listen and want to make a difference.
A huge thank you to everyone at Toyland for being so proactive and for turning awareness into action. Your willingness to make meaningful changes will have a positive impact on so many families.
