From tiny seeds to lots of chillies! 🌱

This year, our veggies have exceeded all expectations, but the chillies have truly stolen the show! So many chillies from the little plants we started with.

There’s something so rewarding about looking back at where you started and seeing how far you’ve come.

A little seed, a lot of patience, consistent care, and nature doing its thing. 🪴

Never underestimate what a little seed can become. The process is beautiful, but the results? Even better! 🌶️

TOP TIPS FOR GROWING INDOORS – ANY SEASON💡

Growing in a tent? Getting the basics right makes all the difference! 🙌

Here are 3 key things to keep on top of for a healthier, more consistent grow:

1. Lighting & Placement - Adjust your light height and intensity to suit your plant type, growth stage and the time of year.

2. Temperature & Humidity - Keep your environment stable and well-ventilated. Seasonal changes can have a big impact, so monitor conditions regularly.

3. Watering & Run-Off - Get your watering cycle right, avoid overwatering, and check your run-off to help monitor root-zone conditions and nutrient balance.

Remember: every grow is different! Small adjustments and consistent monitoring can make a big difference.

So, why does growing hydroponically tend to be faster? 🌱💧

It’s all about access to nutrients.

In hydro, the roots have direct access to a nutrient solution, rather than having to grow through a medium like soil or coco in search of available nutrients and water.

Less searching. More direct access. More efficient uptake. ⚡️

And that’s one of the reasons hydroponic plants can grow faster and more vigorously when everything is dialled in correctly.

Your plants don’t know it’s autumn… but your grow room does!

As the seasons change, heating comes back on, radiators and heaters are running, windows stay closed, and all of this can change the environment around your grow.

Temperature and humidity are closely linked. Heating can change relative humidity, while cooler periods can cause humidity to rise, so keeping an eye on both is important.

That’s where good airflow and ventilation can make a real difference. From extraction and intake to circulation, the right setup can help keep air moving and your growing environment more consistent.
