SG Percussion is no more, we lasted 10 fabulous years, thank you all for your support.
Spence here.......It's simply time to move on, the pandemic has had a devastating effect on the music industry as a whole, and I feel for all, muso's, producers, festival and event organisers.
The last cajon made was No1100 and I gave it to an aspiring and aspirational young lady.......so maybe there's hope for live music yet.....

Hi guys, Spence here with an update from SG towers....
As we all know, Covid has changed the world, and had, and is having, a devastating effect on the music industry.
With that in mind, SG is going on the back burner for a while, as I've had to take some contract work across the summer. Tho fear not, we're still here, in fact 17 Practice Cajon went to our friends at Collision Drumsticks just last week, and we are working away in the background on a fabulous project.... more news, later in the year.
I hope you have a great summer, BTW, there's 4 Bass Cajon & 2 Sub Cajon in stock, so if you need one, just shout

Busy old end to the week down in the workshop....Birch, Sub finished to keep the Oak one company & 4 Cajon started (including No1100 !).

Sanded another Sub today. Body is ready to Ebonize. Front plate is badged and oiled (one of my favorite parts of the job)...

Last post of the year....
Aaron our trainee has completed his own drum, (which I let him take home).
A crackin' lad, who listened and followed instruction very well, he certainly has a bright future and I hope he enjoyed his time with us.

Today marks our 9th Anniversary.....even though times have been tough lately, we are still here and have even started a side project in Oak-eydokey Woodcraft and there's some amazing news coming soon.
