A very generous comment from a few years ago which I must have missed from a man who certainly knows his axe from his øx! 🎸🪓

For me music has always been that contradiction of deep introspection and dialogue with others whether that be my teachers, members of an audience, my students or my customers.

My inspiration comes from all of these people and the knowledge that my painstaking efforts will ultimately produce a finely crafted work of art which will be cherished by another musician, and that their musical creations will in turn go on and inspire others.

Thanks to all and in particular Ren Marabou for reminding me of my purpose! 🙏
