Can you play chess?

Last minute addition to our stock for the Ayr & County Flower Show on Friday and Saturday.

We've more chance of seeing you there than seeing the eclipse later today. To many clouds today but the forecast is good weather for Friday and Saturday so looking forward to seeing you there.

Why visit a craft market?

Because that's where you find unique handcrafted goods like the pieces I'm working on for you today.

These will be finished shortly and some might even make it to the market at the Ayr and district Flower Show this Friday and Saturday.

Busy in the workshop putting the finishing touches to lots of cool pieces for our table.

Not long left to go until tables start getting built, exhibits begin flooding Ayr Racecourse and the doors open to everyone for two bloomin great days out at this year’s Ayr & District Flower Show! 🌺🧅🧁🎨🍎

I thought my days under canvas were finished.

Thanks to everyone who made the weekend marquee market a success.

Great to see a community come together and enjoy time together come rain or shine.

One of my enduring memories will be the 2 ladies who despite the drizzle sat and enjoyed their tea and cake under the protection of there umbrellas.

We hope you enjoy your purchases for many years to come.

Almost time to visit the coast with lots of handcrafted wood and resin creations for your enjoyment. Along with a diverse and talented group of creator makers it's woth popping in, saying hi and finding that special item for yourself or a gift for a loved one.

Playing with sticks.

Some weeks all the action is below the water level and out of site. That was mostly this weeks experience.

We've tidied the workshop. Done the books for the taxman and strategised for the back end of the year.

But for a bit of yesterday and today I'm back playing with sticks.

As you can see nothing is finished and there's a lot of sticks to find a use for. All that means is there's lot's of 'happy thoughts ' just waiting to be discovered.

Maybe see you over the weekend at 'Craft in the Garden'.

What ever your doing over the weekend I hope you have an amazing time.
