We’ve got the Vintage 30th Anniversary V72 Thinline and V65 Ventura Green in stock now, and these are the last examples we expect to get our hands on.

Only 60 of each model were produced worldwide for Vintage’s 30th Anniversary range, so these were genuinely limited from day one. Not just a special colour, not just a badge, but tiny production numbers.

The V72 Thinline brings that classic semi-hollow T-style look with anniversary detailing and upgraded appointments, while the V65 goes full offset with twin Alan Entwistle X90A soapbars, long-arm vibrato and that incredible Ventura Green finish.

Both come with their 30th Anniversary gig bags and both are brand new.

With Vintage’s parent company winding down, there isn’t another batch coming behind these. Once these two are gone, that’s it from us.

🔥 NEW GUITAR DAY FOR ALEX… AND A BIG ONE FOR Duke GUITARS! 🔥

A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of welcoming the Managing Director of Duke Guitars over from Germany to Chordplay, and after getting our hands on the range properly, we knew we wanted some in the shop.

Today, one of their flagship models has found its new home with Alex. 🎸

And these guitars are seriously impressive.

Every Duke we have is PLEK’d, beautifully put together and loaded with the kind of spec you’d normally expect to pay considerably more for. The fit, finish, playability and attention to detail are outstanding.

This particular guitar is genuinely one of the nicest acoustics I’ve ever played. Big statement, but I mean it. It feels incredible straight out of the case and sounds every bit as good as it looks.

We’re absolutely delighted to be offering Duke Guitars here at Chordplay and we think this is a brand a lot more players are going to be talking about.

🇯🇵 CHORDPLAY JAPAN SELECT 🇯🇵

This one has bags of character.

2004 Tokai Custom Edition SG | Made in Japan

Finished in aged Alpine White with gold hardware and a three-humbucker layout, this is a seriously cool Japanese Tokai and it plays brilliantly.

It’s lightweight at around 8lb 10oz, has a fuller neck profile rather than a slim one, and feels really solid in the hand. Tonally it’s lively and punchy, with plenty of bite and a really usable vintage-style voice.

Condition is very good for its age with honest cosmetic wear throughout. The lacquer loss on the underside of the neck near the nut is cosmetic only, not a crack, and has been lightly sanded smooth. There’s also a line around the horn which appears to be in the finish rather than structural, along with the usual marks and ageing you’d expect from a 2004 guitar.

A really interesting bit of Japanese Tokai history and something a little different from the usual SG.

🇺🇸 This is a VERY special Telecaster…

Just landed with us, a stunning 2025 Fender American Vintage II 1972 Telecaster Thinline in 3-Colour Sunburst. And when we say mint, this one really is about as close to buying new as you’ll get.

Originally bought as a gift, but the chap it was bought for ultimately preferred playing acoustic, so it’s seen virtually no use. The plastics are still intact, and it comes complete with its original Fender hard case, COA, paperwork and case candy.

Built in the USA and based closely on the iconic early ’70s Thinline, it features a semi-hollow ash body, one-piece maple neck with the period-correct 1972 “C” profile, 7.25” radius and, best of all, a pair of Fender CuNiFe Wide Range humbuckers. 🔥

It weighs in at a lovely 7lb exactly too.

These have an RRP of £2,295.

This 2017 PRS SE Custom 24 Roasted Maple Limited Edition in stunning Sapphire has just arrived and it’s an absolute beauty.

The limited run features a roasted maple neck and fingerboard, giving it a distinctive look, superb stability and a fast, smooth playing feel. Combined with the flame maple top, PRS tremolo and versatile 85/15 “S” pickups with coil split, it’s a guitar that covers just about everything from crystal-clear cleans to soaring lead tones.

This one is in near mint condition, with only a few light surface marks on the back that are barely worth mentioning. It comes complete with its original PRS gig bag and is ready to go.
