Our summer food van returned to our Darwen HQ yesterday to feed more than 300 of our employees a free lunch in the sunshine! ☀️

Once the team was fed, there was plenty of food left over, and we were determined not to let it go to waste. Finding somewhere able to accept a donation at short notice wasn't easy, so a huge thank you to Carley at Early Break UK for going above and beyond to connect us with the right people.

The van stayed behind, cooked everything up, and over 50 hot meals went to The Salvation Army in Blackburn for people in the community to enjoy.

Thank you to everyone who made yesterday such a success and to The Salvation Army for the great work they do every day! 💗

Congratulations, Jack Catterall, WBA World Welterweight Champion! 🥊🏆

What a performance. What a moment.

On Saturday night, in front of the Pyramids of Giza, our very own Jack "El Gato" Catterall put on a masterclass, dropping Shakhram Giyasov in the first round and dominating all twelve to claim the WBA World Welterweight Title by unanimous decision.

After everything Jack has been through to get here, proud doesn't even cover it. We're honoured to sponsor a fighter of Jack's calibre, not just for what he does in the ring, but for the dedication, resilience, and heart he brings every single time.

There's nothing better than seeing a community come together for a great cause.

Last week, our team rallied up support for the annual Easter egg appeal for Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone, and what a haul it was! Youth Zone does wonderful work giving young people across the borough the opportunities they deserve, and supporting that is a no-brainer for us.

A huge thank you goes out to everyone who helped pull this together to make it a brilliant Easter for all! 🐣

Being a patron of Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone is a role that fills our entire team with immense pride. Our CEO recently joined fellow business leaders from across the borough to feature in their latest video: One Vision. United Leaders. Real Change.

It serves as a powerful reminder that when we come together, we don’t just provide opportunities—we strengthen the entire community. From supporting thousands of young people to providing over 75,000 free hot meals, the impact of the Youth Zone truly is life-changing.

As business leaders, it’s our responsibility to create pathways for the next generation and ensure that talent is always met with equal opportunity. We are honoured to be part of an 80-strong network of local companies dedicated to building a prosperous future for the young people in our borough.

Celebrating the Women of Flavour Warehouse 💜

Every year, we ask our team to nominate the women who inspire, uplift, and empower them. This year, our focus was on Supportive Mentorship. We wanted to celebrate those who actively lift others up, share their knowledge, and champion the growth of their colleagues.

At Flavour Warehouse, International Women’s Day isn’t just a date on the calendar; it’s an opportunity to look around and appreciate the incredible culture we’ve built.

From those breaking barriers in leadership and mentoring new talent, to the colleagues providing everyday support, championing inclusion, and helping others prepare for their next career steps, we were pleased to see so many nominations for women across the business.

The energy at HQ has been heartwarming today! ❤️

We’ve spent the morning surprise-delivering cards and chocolates to everyone nominated by their teammates for our annual 'Love Your Colleague' day.

It’s easily one of our favourite traditions. There’s something special about catching people off guard with a bit of well-deserved recognition, even the ones who tried to dodge the camera!

We had a fantastic time hosting Jack Catterall at HQ recently! This time, it wasn’t about the ring; it was about the fulfilment floor.

Jack joined our fulfilment team to see exactly how we "get things done", and it’s safe to say he was impressed. From the sheer speed of the operation to the clinical efficiency of our dispatch process, Jack got a front-row seat to the hard work that powers our business and the fantastic team behind it!

While he’s used to fast hands, he was amazed by just how quickly our team moves to keep everything on track.

Huge thanks to Jack for being a great sport and learning the ropes with us. It’s always a win when world-class talent meets world-class operations!
