I'm not very good at blowing my own trumpet, but blow, I shall 🎺

For the last 3 years I have been on the panel at the Autumn Fair for Gift of the Year, but this week, I was asked to be a SPEAKER!! 🥹

I'm a panellist now darlings, I know! 💁🏼‍♀️

It was also so lovely to see some friendly faces and fellow Daventry retailers in the crowd to support me.

Walking Daventry Art Trail: Calling all young artists!

This September, Daventry is joining Northants and Rutland Open Studios, and we want your children’s art on show.

We’re inviting young people aged 0 to 18 to create a piece of art for our Walking Daventry Art Trail. Finished pieces will be displayed in shop windows around town as part of the exhibition.

How to take part:

🎨Create a piece of art on A4 paper. Any medium works: crayon, paint, collage, pencil, whatever your child enjoys
🖌️The only rule is size, it must be A4
📝Write the artist’s name and a contact number on the back
🎨Drop it off at Sheaf Street Health Store or The Storybook Play Cafe by 10th September

We can’t wait to see what Daventry’s young artists create!
