Scarecrows will be taking over at Heart of the Shires Shopping Village this September.

Our retailers have been super busy making and creating some super scarecrows and they will be on display throughout the site.
This year the scarecrows will be on display from the Friday to view and at the weekend there will be a Harvest food-festival too with local foodies offering fabulous eats and treats.

Saturday and Sunday we'll have brass bands playing!

We welcome Doghampton to our Bandstand with doggy demonstrations, Saturday and Sunday.

Bark & Beyond and@Animals In Need Northamptonshire will be at the event too with animal-awesome-ness, throughout the weekend! Incredible Artist Penny Hanby Portraits will be on site Friday afternoon.

Sunday, The Dog Barn are having a Dog Show and the pup-tastic Playfield and Playroom will be FREE to see and sniff around, both Saturday AND Sunday! That’ll get tails wagging.

It’s going to be hay-mazing!
The event is completely free to attend and free to park. Caw!

PLUS
Be in with a chance to win an amazing Autumn hamper.
With incredible ideas and scarecrows stuffed to the brim, our retailers are battling out to be voted the best scarecrow maker… but only you can decide. Simply pick up a voting form (from The Plant Barn at Heart of the Shires) and choose your favourite. All entries will go into a prize draw and the first one pulled out of the (straw) hat will win the hamper - GOOD LUCK!

It promises to be a fun and straw-filled weekend, at Heart of the Shires - just off the Hay 5.
