Customer showcase: David Case’s Russian and Austrian villages.

David sent us a fantastic set of photos showing his painted Battle Honours 3D terrain, including both intact and ruined Russian village buildings as well as his Austrian village.

We’ve put together a full showcase looking at how these buildings can be used for the 1812 campaign and other historical settings, and how mixing intact and damaged terrain can help tell the story of a battle on the tabletop.

Most hobbyists assume 1/72 scale is roughly “about 20mm”. It isn’t. Mathematically, 1/72 scale converts to 22.4mm when measured anatomically from the base of the foot to the bridge of the nose. (Battle Honours 3D ™)
That difference might sound small, but at this size a couple of millimetres changes how infantry align with vehicles, terrain, and other figure ranges.
