So… what is Masie Myres: Two Worlds actually about? 🌎✨

Masie Myres is 13 years old.

As far as she knows, she lives in an ordinary world.

She doesn't.

Hidden alongside Altram — the world we know — is another world, concealed from humanity for thousands of years.

Mythosa.

And Masie is about to discover that some of the creatures humans dismissed as myths and legends may not be myths at all.

But discovering another world isn't Masie's biggest problem.

Something is coming.

Something that threatens everything.

And Masie and her friends have just five days to find a way to stop it.

Things are changing around here… ✨
If you've followed this account for a while, you'll probably remember it being filled with drone photography, landscapes and places I'd visited.
Well, there's a reason things look rather different now.
In 2019, an idea that started as a little film project with my daughter and her friends began to grow into something much bigger.
Filming eventually came to an end, but the story didn't.
I carried on writing.
And on 30 April this year, that little idea became my first published novel — Masie Myres: Two Worlds.
So I've decided it's time to give Masie a proper home here too.
Over the coming weeks I'll be sharing the story behind the book, the characters, creatures and worlds I've created, some behind-the-scenes bits from writing it — and perhaps a few hints about what's coming next.
For those of you who've been here since the drone days, thank you for sticking around.
And if you're new here…
Welcome to the world of Masie Myres. ✨

Alright… I’ll try to keep this short, which, as an author, (something i need to get used to), clearly isn’t my strong point 😅

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who’s supported me since I posted about my book being published.

The messages, comments, shares, and especially the photos of it arriving, have been amazing (and slightly surreal… like, that’s an actual book with my name on it?!).
I’m honestly blown away. I wasn’t sure anyone would read it beyond my immediate circle… and even then I thought a few of you were just being polite 😂

But seriously, it means a lot. Every comment, like, share, and copy bought has helped more than you probably realise.
I’m very lucky to have such a brilliant, supportive bunch around me. Thanks for being part of this, it genuinely means the world.
I hope you enjoy the book. 😀
