This is the post I have dreaded writing……
Yesterday we said the hardest goodbye to Pierre - his little body was exhausted and he just didn’t have any fight left.
I feel so lucky to have shared almost 16 years with him- he was my spirit animal - stubborn, loving and very fond of cake!
The hole he has left in our hearts will never be filled - nor should it…… he was one in a million.

I want to thank Laura, The Rainbow Bridge Vet who made his passing so gentle and peaceful.

I know he is running around with Marie, Jasper, Hiro and Troy….. and getting lots of fuss from my mum.
Till I see you again my beautiful boy 😢💔🐾

I am so sad to learn that Bob Mackie has passed away today.
He has been a hero of mine for many years - I have a collection of his Limited Edition Barbie Dolls and Angel figurines, I wrote about his work and influence for the Dissertation on my Art Foundation course.
I was lucky to see some of his creations as part of the Diva Exhibition at the V&A Museum.
The world is definitely less bright without him@but his sparkle will last for years to come.

Last night we went to see the fabulous Jane McDonald at Nottingham Arena.
Looking through the programme and in the Q&A section, she mentions the Christmas Wreath which I made and gave to her at Blackpool, a couple of years ago(I couldn’t believe when she spoke to me during the show).
I was a bit gobsmacked and very chuffed that she loved it, hung it on her door….. and remembered it.
The concert was stunning too, as ever ❤️❤️

They were made with faux flowers but I added dried Lavender to fill the room with a gorgeous scent.

A triple Birthday celebration calls for a special cake.
This 3 tier creation is covered in White Chocolate Ganache, more melted white chocolate, iced star cookies. Party Ring and Iced Gem biscuits, more white chocolate sweets….. and lots of sprinkles.
