Day 2 of is all about this first photo is a cover I used for the recent market and I think it shows my aesthetic well, obsessed about all things gothy but with a name like Daisy its a must that I'm into flowers too or at least its always been that way for me so I merge the two together wherever possible. I enjoy painting and drawing nudes always have my mum's house growing up and to this day is covered in naked art I have enjoyed recently bringing that into my work and using it to decorate my products. My day to day style is black, I lean towards more alternative fabrics. I love this zombie fabric so much. I love tie dye and these batik materials I've used for kitchen towel I think are just devine and so pleasing.

So sewk it up is my little eco baby which I started up February 2020 just prior to us going into this pandemic, I had lots of grand ideas and then it got sidelined for the best part of the year due to working as a nurse on an end of life covid ward. I also have a 4 year old daughter who keeps me occupied. I have used sewk it up to benefit my mind and it has been very therapeutic being able to spend my spare time making eco friendly products, developing my skills and introducing people to the world of cloth and reusables who hadn't ventured here before. I am so proud as to what I have managed to achieve this year and I am so excited to see what I can do to make my business grow as we go forward.

My main starting product was Cloth sanitary pads (CSP) but due to everything that has been happening i spent a lot of last year making masks instead. I am constantly improving my sewing skills and my designs in order to make the best CSP I can and I enjoy making cloth wipes and other reusables always trying to adapt and change.

I use organic products where I can and I mainly lean towards anything alternative and with skulls on because that is my personal preference and where i wanted my brand to be but as you will see i really tend to mix it up.

So I think that gives a little insight into my brand 🖤
