🧊UNDER COUNTER FRIDGE NEEDED🧊

We are in need of an under counter fridge for our lovely volunteers to use, especially in this humid weather. Its important they stay hydrated with cold drinks etc.

If you have one spare in a good, clean and working condition please let us know. If you are able to drop it off at the shop it truly will be lifesaving! We have struggled with the stifling heat and humidity recently and our current provision is no longer fit for purpose.

We have approximately 30 of these disposal pulp male urinal bottles.

Please get in touch if you are a care worker or a carer and they would be of use to you. They were donated to us and items like these are something we do not turn away as they are integral to someone's care.

Please treat this post with the respect it deserves. We also have incontinence pads if anyone is struggling to afford them.

We understand there was a house fire in the early hours of this morning on the outskirts of Sunnyhill. An area where it all began for us and still firmly holds a place in our hearts.

We do not know the extent of the damage other than nearby roads are closed, but if anyone knows the individual(s) affected please let them know we can help with clothing or essentials such as hygiene products to tide them over. Please get in touch via our inbox.

Our team's thoughts are with those affected and we hope they are safe and well.

Join two of our powerhouses - Jacky and Wendy from 10am to 5pm today who will be awaiting your donations and custom.

Please come and keep the ladies busy and more importantly out of mischief (and boy can they get up to some mischief!ll 🤭🤭).

So, call it your community duty to come see them and call in for a cuppa at the same time.

🚨🚨THE SHOP HAS BEEN EMMA'D!!🚨🚨

Well no one can fault Emma's work ethic! Our very own superhero!

She has been in the shop on a Sunday evening to reconfigure it, so that we are able to display the best items at very affordable prices for you.

Please remember we are a not-for-profit organisation, which means every penny we earn goes back into sustaining our premises. We have always been transparent in terms of where funds go and we make it clear that Emma nor any of the volunteers are paid. We all do it because we have a passion to help others and to an extent shield others from the hard life lessons we have had to endure.

Therefore, you can see how important your donations and custom are. We pride ourselves on being one of the most affordable charities around because we believe everyone deserves a helping hand.

Those who find themselves in financial difficulty or crisis will be gifted items for free. All we ask is that you are honest about your circumstances because its unfair if our generosity and that of our donators is taken for granted.

We hope to see you in the new layout shop this week!
