I listened to these chaps and decided to order 2 copies. One for me and one for the store. It’s a wonderful track and I don’t know how I missed this release from last year. It’s got a host of soul influences in there but with a modern twist. Just the type of record I want to stock. Enjoy

This is the type of record I love to find. It’s a concept album, and not for everyone. It’s a nice piece of electronica that very much succeeds in capturing one if the darkest aspects of life in the 1980s. I remember watching Threads, a harrowing fictional depiction of a nuclear warhead hitting Sheffield. I seem to remember a a tangible fear of nuclear holocaust throughout the 1980s. Anyway, this album brings all of that together, it’s available in the store from Friday .

These are a completely different prospect to the last band (Black Marble). Belgian punk band, from Ghent. and they’re causing a bit of a stir. This is a highly anticipated album, after listening to this track, I can see why. This album drops Friday. At the moment I’m getting single copies so once it’s gone, it’s gone! Enjoy. Life in Small Spaces is the latest from Brooklyn band Black Marble. It’s a lovely album, and it’s waiting for a synth lover to take it home. Part of the appeal of a record shop, is that you never know what you’ll find and that’s why I’ve tried to stock new and interesting artists. Have a listen to Black Marble and you’ll be transported back to around 1986. Thatcher is on the way to her 3rd election victory, and the financial sector and property market is about to 🚀.
