The new term is here, and the team are ready to welcome schools, teachers and young readers back on board.

There’s something really lovely about this time of year. Fresh shelves, new routines, familiar faces and children stepping onto the Bus to find a book that feels just right.

One last Bank Holiday of the summer.

What a few weeks it has been for The Book Bus.

From festivals and family days out to children climbing aboard, browsing the shelves and finding books to take home, summer has been full of brilliant little reading moments.

We’ve loved meeting so many families on the road, chatting about favourite stories, seeing children point out the books they want, and watching the Bus become part of so many summer days.

Thank you to everyone who has stopped by, said hello, bought a book or followed along.

Summer might be starting to wind down, but there are still plenty more stories to discover.

It was so lovely to meet so many families, browse all the amazing food and drink stalls, and of course, share plenty of books along the way 💛
