I love designing. I have a serious greeting card habit. I have been incredibly lucky to combine all four passions into "the little dog laughed"; a card and gift company owed by myself and my two brothers, Gavin & Nathan. My nan always said if you could count on five true friends over a lifetime, you had something money could never buy.
Here's a unique friendship from the 2020 archives. Ruben the German Shorthaired Pointer with best friend Dandelion. They’ve been pals since Dandy was a little kitten. If you can't lean on someone in times of extreme need, perhaps they just aren't ready for the exclusive VIP all-time bestie area!

June, it's June everyone!

To guide you through this 2026 half way point, this month for the mutts we have Miss Darcy the Border Collie and for the moggies we have Miss Brkovi the Bosnian rescue.

Miss Darcy has a natural gift for adding sunshine to life. She is a magnet for the lonely and loves a chin-wag with the elderly. Gathering new friends is her urban alternative to herding sheep.

And Miss Brkovi, which means moustache in Bosnian, absolutely loves lurking at the top of the stairs, ready to pounce on all unsuspecting housemates. Her servant Juliet and partner volunteer their time at weekends to help local animal welfare charities which explains how their home has morphed into a United Nations for waifs and strays.

Here's hoping June sends lots of sunshine souls to brighten your days ###

Dogs and picnics go together much like toddlers with a recorder but here's Ned the Cockapoo road testing our award-winning Pet Accessories and proving it can be done. Ish!

And this one of Lola had me instantly hooked when Louise said she is the most peculiar pooch she'd ever had.
And this is why. Legend!💕

She’s got many saluki traits, loves to bat her eyelashes at passing strangers then turns away if they stop to admire her.
Sings at the top of her voice when you least expect it, is extremely naughty but when she’s up to no good (eg ripping up a pillow) gives herself away by yipping with excitement!
She howls with joy when she sees elderly gentleman Eric at number 70, rushes over and leans on him waiting for a treat which she holds in her mouth until he’s out of sight then spits out??
Total loon!
