Crispy Homemade Murukku / Chakli
(Made easily using Summer Snow electric string hopper machine 💛)

Nothing beats the sound of freshly fried murukku — that perfect golden crunch! 😍

Made with simple pantry ingredients like rice flour, besan, chilli powder, sesame seeds and just the right spices… mixed into a smooth dough, piped beautifully, and fried to crispy perfection.

Using the electric machine makes it so much easier and quicker — less effort, same authentic taste!
Perfect for tea time, Ramadan snacks, or anytime you’re craving something crunchy and homemade.

Crispy Sev at Home!
Made using an Electric String Hopper Machine Summer Snow

Sev :

(All -time favourite snack)

Ingredients
• 2 cups besan (gram flour)
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
• A pinch of asafoetida (hing)
• 1–2 tablespoons hot oil or melted butter
• Water, as needed
• Oil, for deep frying

Method
1. In a bowl, mix besan, salt, red chilli powder, and asafoetida.
2. Add hot oil or melted butter and mix well.
3. Add water little by little and make a soft, smooth, pipeable dough.
4. Fit the sev mould into the electric string hopper machine.
5. Fill the dough into the machine and pipe it directly into hot oil.
6. Lightly squeeze/cut the sev while piping to get shorter strands.
7. Fry on medium heat until golden and crispy.
8. Remove from oil and drain well.
9. Once cooled slightly, crush gently with your hands to get sev.
10. Let it cool completely before storing.

Tip
📌Keep the oil on medium heat for even frying and perfect crunch
