At 'Oh Sew Precious Memories' my aim is to turn your babies precious clothes into keepsakes that can be treasured for many years to come. My name is Jemma and as a mummy of 2 gorgeous boys I know how precious the first years of their little lives can be. I had heard through a friend about 'memory elephants', after doing some research I decided to make my own and then I tried my hand at a few other
animals. With a bit of encouragement from some mummy friends I decided to set up my little business making them for other people to treasure too. Due to trading standards the only way I am now able to make the animal keepsakes is to attach them to a wooden base. This can be painted in a colour of your choice and you also have the option to personalise it with vinyl writing of your choice. Please ensure clothes are freshly washed and ironed before sending them my way as your keepsake won't be able to be washed after it is made. Terms and Conditions- As each item is made to order I work on a first come first served basis. A lot of time and love goes into each precious item so I aim to have them returned to you within 6-8 weeks of receiving your little ones clothes and/or payment in full. However, being a mummy to 2 small boys unexpected things can happen and therefore it may take slightly longer. Once clothes and full payment has been received I will add your name to a spreadsheet and work in that order. I will update the wall regularly with who's items I am working on. Please be aware that as each item is unique it is not possible to offer refunds. If for some reason you are unhappy with your final product please get in touch so we can discuss the matter further. The material used for each keepsake is different therefore slight imperfections may occur in the final item, please bare this in mind before placing an order. MEMORY BLANKETS
With a patchwork top, wadding in the middle and backed with fleece or stroke-able cuddlesoft the layers of each blanket are stitched together around the edge and turned right side out with a top stitch sewn around the edge once it is the right way round. How it works - If you are interested in having a memory blanket made please get in touch as soon as possible and I will add you to my prospective list, once you reach the top of the list I will contact you to post the clothes to me and will make your beautiful item. Unfortunately I cannot put a time scale on this but hopefully your blanket will be worth waiting for ;-)
