# IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT #

Due to unforeseen circumstances we cannot cover this evenings shift at your local village shop.
Due to illness.
The shop will therefore have to close at 4pm today.
Apologies for this but it cannot be helped.
Please ensure you get anything you need before 4pm.
Paula who is currently serving (and doing an extra hour for us) cannot wait to be rushed off her feet……. 😁😁
There will be a further update later today
But as it stands currently there is also a very strong chance tomorrow’s Sundays papers will be later than normal leaving the shop - as we may have to open later than normal.
Again we can only apologise for any inconvenience.

We need to talk about Potatoes, just for a moment. 😄 🥔

This morning, now all the villages are back from their Holidays we’ve had 4 customers request potatoes…..
At the cash and carry there were no pre bagged spuds 🥔
So……
We’ve bought a 20kg bag and we’ve bagged them up.

🥔🥔 So a funny shout out to the whole village… 🥔🥔

We’ve got loads of washed white potatoes in stock - bagged up - 6 per bag - £1.25each

Please Please Please help us to get through this stock 🤦‍♂️🤭😆😆😆
