I would just like to formally complain about the weather. 🙄

I was READY FOR WINTER.

The hoodies are out.
The cosy clothes are ready.
I’ve mentally moved on to dark nights, blankets, candles and the heating being on. 🍂🎃

So can someone please explain why it is 25 BLOODY DEGREES TODAY?! ☀️🥵

Caught completely off guard, I had to abandon the winter wardrobe and put some shorter trousers on to go to an appointment.

Off I went, happily minding my own business…
…until I sat down and looked at my legs.

OH.

MY.

GOD. 😳

Apparently, in my excitement for autumn, I had also mentally declared shaving season CLOSED.

Those legs were NOT prepared for public viewing. 😂😂

I wasn't wearing cropped trousers.
I was wearing two tiny fur coats from the knee down. 🦧

At one point I'm fairly sure a small child looked at my ankle and thought they'd spotted a woodland creature.

So cheers, British weather. 👍🏻

Yesterday: “Get your big coat out, Paula.” 🍂
Today: “SURPRISE BITCH! GET YOUR HAIRY LEGS OUT.” ☀️🤣

Can we PLEASE just pick a season and stick to it?!
Because if it's 25° again tomorrow, I'm either shaving my legs or wearing full-length trousers and accepting heatstroke.

And frankly, at this point, heatstroke feels like less effort. 😂😂😂

Well...here it is warts and all...no, not the photo frame 🤦🏼‍♀️ That needs a bit more working up to 😂

Here is my first attempt at the chess set! 🥳 Some of the tiny bits haven't filled properly and the prawns are really easy to pull their heads off when demoulding 😂🫣

But for a first attempt....I'm happy 🥰🥰

If anyone wants one I promise not to pull the heads off your prawns 😂😂

So, the photo frame for my dad hasn't gone exactly as planned 😭See that mahoosive air bubble? I obviously wasn't careful enough placing to photo 😪

But Charlie assures me this can be fixed and he's never let me down yet!

So today I'm going to pour the black back layer and then tomorrow we'll see what's what 🤞🏻

Meanwhile I'll be up to my eyes making stuff for my craft fayre on Sunday. Yesterday was sub-lim day and I made lots of mugs and coasters.

Today is wood day 😏😏
