Birds of Dereham are currently seeing temporary staff to work in our schoolwear department
from the end of June over the summer period.
We are looking for staff with a friendly, confident, energetic and engaging attitude to serve
customers, deal with online orders, check deliveries, replenish stock and assist with the
general running of the department.
As this role is customer facing, a smart appearance will be required. This role will also
involve the use of ladders and some manual handling; training will be provided.
A minimum of 3 days per week to be worked, including Saturdays, with additional days
available.
This would ideally suit a school leaver, college or university student – applicants must be at
least 16 by the end of June 2026.
Pay rates will be in line with NMW.

We would like to remind everyone to please place your orders as early as you can, to allow yourself to have a nice smooth transition back to school! ⏰

Please make sure you place your orders by Saturday the 17th, to make sure we have plenty of time to process your School Uniform in time for the end of the holidays.
While we will still work hard to process orders placed after the 17th, they will not be guaranteed to be complete by the time you go back to school.

Birds of Dereham are currently seeking Summer staff to work in our busy Schoolwear Department from June to September. We are looking for staff aged 16 and over with an energetic and engaging attitude to serve customers, replenish stock, check deliveries and assist with the general running of the department. As this is a customer facing role a smart appearance will be required. This role will involve the use of stairs, ladders and carrying boxes but the relevant training will be given.

This role is for a minimum of 3 days per week to include Saturdays with additional hours available and would ideally suit a College or University student. Pay rates will be in line with National Minimum Wage.
