I haven't been in the shop properly for four weeks due for the most part to health reasons. I'm aiming to get back on Monday. In my absence we have acquired a couple of rather nice collections which I have yet to see up close. I'm looking forward to that.

Escaped from the NHS and back to normal. I hope to be in the shop again on Friday.

Unfortunately I have been captured briefly by the NHS and will not be in the shop today. At the moment we have been processing lots of fresh stock and were hoping to get some of it on the shelves today. With a bit of luck we will be able to get it on show by Friday.

Gazing out on a beautiful sunny morning albeit with a hint of snow on the grass. Looking forward to another day in the shop. We were delighted to welcome some American students yesterday who proved to be good fun and even better bought some interesting books. We have some interesting stock on the shelves at the moment.

It's terrific to be back in the shop again, the ill-health has been a bit of a pain over the last number of weeks. Despite all that I have been happy with the way we have kept going and we have indeed acquired a considerable amount of fresh stock, with the promise of more to come. Access from Magazine Street is now quite straightforward and the road in general is looking well. I notice too that tourists are once again touring the Walls so hopefully they will feel the need for a good book.

I have been out of hospital for ten days now and did a day in the shop on Monday. I will be working tomorrow and have everything firmly crossed for the future.

Just a note today to let you know that once again I have been a guest of the Western Trust where I am being wonderfully minded.and repaired and will be hopefully out and about in a few days.thankd to all my colleagues who are keeping the show.on the road, See you soon

Back at work today after a great week entertaining family. As I hinted before we are hoping to make inroads into the boxes in the store, some of which have been undisturbed for more than twelve months. Looking forward to it.

We will be open as usual today. Thank you to all our customers over the last year, we are looking forward to seeing you over the coming year and of course selling you some good books.
