A converted old dairy near Devizes in Wiltshire full of an inspiring and ever changing assortment of The Inner Yard is run by Charity Nichols and Beth Cuttell.

With Charity's 15 years' experience with John Lewis and Beth's 20 years as an antiques dealer they bring very different yet complementary skills to the business. The Inner Yard houses their two businesses - Charity's Green Tulip ethical gifts business and Beth's No 33 Antiques business. They then buy a range of stylish interiors together - focusing where possible on small suppliers and products that are made in the UK. You can be assured of a warm welcome (when the wood burner is on anyway!) and helpful service as well as a good chat! Part of The Old Potato Yard development featuring a farm shop, coffee shop, hairdressers, plant nursery, craft workshop and horse & country shop.

I’ve spent the last few years taking lovely pictures and videos, and posting them on here trying to spread the word about our shop…

It turns out all we needed to do to go ‘viral’ was to invite Sarah over to spend the evening with Beth and give them a paint brush, a camera and a James Bond theme tune 😂

A few more from last night with us all dressed up in our finery! Always love getting a team shot with Liz and Deborah - we definitely couldn’t do it without them and they were in their best elving mode yesterday evening!

Liz also spent most of her weekend at the shop clearing up all the mess we were making (quite a task!) so deserves a special mention 🥰

It’s lovely seeing customers’ faces when they walk in after we’ve redecorated so we’re looking forward to that this week and will also be sorting through all the pictures and outtakes from the weekend - more to come 😬!

Oh and the winner of the antler competition will be announced later today!

Christmas 2026 at The Inner Yard - our 20th Christmas!

Such a lovely evening seeing lots of our regular customers and having a good old chat 🥰 More pictures (and exciting competition results!) to come tomorrow but for now we’re going home to put our feet up!

And we’re finally here - Christmas Reveal Day!Look out for pictures later once we’ve finished our customer evening (4-9pm if you want to come!).

Our lovely customer suggested playing guess the wall colours - so here goes!

The first person to guess the TWO colours we’ve painted the walls can pop in and choose a free pair of Christmas antlers 🦌🎄🤶 (will confirm the winner after we’ve opened for obvious reasons!). Looking forward to seeing what you come up with (may give us ideas for next year!).

The final day of our build up to Christmas today - our shopping evening is tomorrow at 4pm so we haven't got long left! That has come around rather fast 😳

Keep an eye on stories over the next couple of days for some behind the scenes pictures (usually Beth up a big ladder and Liz keeping control of the chaos!). And we'll look forward to seeing lots of you on Monday.🎄🎄🎄
