On the bench. Parts caster. Original Fender neck with aftermarket body. The neck pocket is not deep enough for this neck resulting in bridge saddles having to be raised all the way for the strings to clear the frets. I’ll rout the pocket 4mm deeper, change the pick up as required by customer then set up. Buying aftermarket bodies and necks is not always as easy as people generally thinks. There’s no guarantee the two will fit correctly.

On the bench, originally a Burny SG, the customer has customised it and it now needs the proper set up to finish. Customising guitars is fun for sure. I’d recommend anyone to buy something cheap and play with upgrades and modifications. Good fun projects. Can get expensive but buying used parts curbs the expense.

Customer: I’ve wired this up but not sure why it’s not working. There are wire filaments unconnected and going astray shorting the signal all over the place 🤦🏻‍♂️. It would have costed him less to bring it to me in the first place.
