Excited today. My new book will be out soon. The story starts in 1938. The Boy from Bermondsey is an epic tale of a youngster and his siblings constant battle to survive the harsh reality of poverty in 1938 London. When all hope seems to be lost, like a bolt of lightening their lives suddenly change by a chance meeting. Their mother Nancy is watching over her children from above.
I did a lot of research and read dozens of stories about life in Great Britain between 1918 and 1938. ( Between the two world wars ) and some of the real life harrowing stories brought a tear to my eye.
This is what prompted me to write the novel.
The Boy from Bermondsey will be out on Ebook soon and the proceeds will be donated to THE FOOD BANK. Thank you for reading. If you are interested in helping promote this fundraising project, please feel free to contact me here on facebook.
