Have you ever thought about taking up fly fishing? Come & join our Aberdeenshire Fly Fish 50 programme on 3 evenings in May. Suitable for children, young people, and adults. 12 hours of instruction in a friendly and informal atmosphere with all kit provided. We can provide a voucher if you want a Christmas Elf to give this to someone!
Fly fishing will challenge you to master a new skill, give you time in the outdoors that can be so good for mental health and relaxation.
Also suitable for those who used to fish and want the confidence to give it a go again or to brush up on basics. With grateful thanks to Loch Insch Fishery , the team at TwinPeakes Fly Fishing and the volunteers.

Learn the basics of fly fishing and get lots of practice on the Loch, master your casting mechanics and all learn about the Bugs & Beasties we mimic with fishing flies.

Tonight is all about perfecting the casting skills . It’s very cold for June , but everyone is really keen !
Thanks to all our volunteers and the team from TwinPeakes Fly Fishing for providing great support and help to our anglers and Lochter Fishery for hosting us . Next week session 3 is on invertebrates and we go pond dipping to learn what bugs we are trying to mimic with fishing flies .. and we do more fly fishing.
