We’re heading back into the depths of the Underhive for a classic clash of ideologies! There is no bigger contrast in Necromunda than a face-off between the gritty, desperate Scavvies and the industrial muscle of House Orlock.

It’s always a blast to look back at these gang fights. Seeing the Orlock gang—the "Iron Dogs" of the hive—trying to protect their interests against a swarm of Scavvies, one of those infamous Outlander gangs, perfectly captures the lawless spirit of the game. Whether you were fighting over a critical resource cache or just trying to survive the night, these rivalries provided some of the most intense tactical moments in the Underhive.

The Hive Swarm Approaches: Cadians Stand Their Ground! 🌌

Today we are revisiting a classic moment of absolute terror on the tabletop: the relentless Tyranid swarm vs. the innumerable wall of the Imperial Guard.

There is nothing quite like the aesthetic of a classic Cadian defense line holding against the chitinous tide. It is always a highlight to spot iconic support units like the Griffon heavy mortar tank in these old battle reports—a true heavy hitter that many of us remember relying on to break up those advancing hordes. Seeing these scenes from the archives reminds us why the fight for the Imperium is never truly over.

A Vintage Warhammer Battle Scene from an Old White Dwarf Magazine.

Take a trip down memory lane with us as we revisit a classic battle from the archives.
We are looking back at these incredible original, bright-red Tyranid models as they descend upon a very sneaky, hidden Imperial Bunker X-14 held by the Tallarn Desert Raisers (No explanation on why these guys are on a Jungle world 🤣. It is amazing to see how these designs have evolved over the years but these models still look really cool in our opinion!
