🎨 Celf Aran Arts – New Cooperative Member Wanted.

Are you a local maker looking for a permanent retail space in Dolgellau?

Celf Aran Arts is looking for a new permanent member to join our cooperative from January 2027.

We are particularly interested in hearing from local makers creating high-quality, original work, ideally in:

🪵 Woodwork
🧺 Willow & wicker baskets
🏺 Ceramics

If you live in the local area and would like to find out more, we’d love to hear from you.

We’ll then send you further information about what being a member of the Celf Aran Arts Cooperative involves, including how the cooperative works and what is expected of members.

Applications will be considered by the existing cooperative members, with a decision being made in early November.

We have some lovely pokers and barbecue skewers for sale in the Gallery. They were forged by blacksmith Cai Gwilym Roberts. Here are some photos of Cai twisting the hot metal for the design in the middle of the pokers and making the decorative spirals for the handle. Courtenay Bears are on their travels this weekend, they are off to Hugglets at the NEC in Birmingham.
