Finally restocked at Castlegate Cards in Tickhill.

We’ve mainly gone with summer vibes now that the sunshine is starting to make an appearance ☀️. Lots of beautiful 100% cotton bunting in gorgeous summer colours. Also in stock is my ever popular Union Jack bunting which would be great for upcoming galas and fetes. There’s even bunting for those caravanners out there.

For those looking for baby gifts, my “Moon & Back” hangers have been restocked along with a gorgeous embroidered nursery rhymes bunting.

Don’t forget that many of my items can be personalised to order and can be produced in many different colour ways. You just need to ask.

Apologies to you all for the radio silence over the past few weeks. It’s been quite a stressful time here at Mama G HQ.

It took me quite a while to get my mojo back after the Christmas break. Then at the beginning of March there was a sudden close family bereavement which completely knocked me for six 😥. So unexpected and heartbreaking 💔.

And now I’m off my feet following a planned foot operation! It’s all come at once but I’m grateful for the time out to rest and get the wheels back on the wagon!

Complete rest for me for 2 weeks and no driving for 6 weeks. Oh well, it’s giving me the chance to plan ahead for new makes, booking craft fairs and adding new items to my shelves in Castlegate Cards. I’ve got some wonderful new products in the pipeline for when I’m able to return to my craft room. Watch this space.

In the meantime, I’ve still got items available in Castlegate Cards and, if you’re not in a rush, I can still take any orders you might have.

A couple of little jobs before I start on today’s project.

1. Change the needle. This needs to be done regularly and mine was definitely in need of a change!

2. Fill bobbins with Brother bobbin thread. My embroidery machine is very temperamental. Although pre filled bobbins are available, my machine only likes brother thread which means I have to fill the bobbins. Luckily my new machine is very good doing this task. My old machine would never play ball and I ended up filling the bobbins using my sewing machine.
