God really did send some wonderful angels to watch over Orlah. 🤍✨

Her amazing teacher, Mrs. Newey, has spent a couple of hours with her this morning, giving Mummy a little bit of much-needed time out. And honestly, we absolutely adore this woman. 🥹❤️

There is something so incredibly special about seeing someone love your child as though they were their own. The care, patience, kindness and genuine love she shows Orlah fills my heart with so much happiness and pride.

We truly believe that God brings certain people into our lives for a reason, and we are so incredibly thankful that He brought Mrs. Newey into ours. 🙏🏼

Thank You, Lord, for surrounding my beautiful girl with such wonderful people who love, support and care for her so deeply.

Some people are simply blessings sent from above — and Mrs. Newey is definitely one of them. ❤️🙏🏼✨

My beautiful girl is NON-STOP! 😂❤️

After such a busy day, you’d think she’d be ready for a little rest… but nope! We’ve come home, she still hasn’t napped, and she’s straight back into action! 😂

This little girl absolutely loves to move, dance and keep herself busy. Today she’s watching gymnastics on YouTube and copying all the moves — bending, stretching and moving her body in ways that amaze me! 🤸‍♀️💕

Children with Down syndrome can have low muscle tone and increased joint flexibility (hypermobility), which can make them incredibly flexible. For her, keeping active and moving is so important because building strength and coordination helps support her muscles and joints.

And just look at her go! 🥹❤️ She doesn't see limitations — she just sees something she wants to try, and off she goes!

Meanwhile, Mummy is taking full advantage of the situation… sitting down with a lovely cup of coffee while my little mover entertains herself! ☕️😂

So incredibly proud of this girl. Her determination, energy and beautiful spirit amaze me every single day.

Love you more than words can ever say, my beautiful girl. ❤️✨

🌸📚 What a beautiful day! 📚🌸

Today we headed to Sprotbrough Library to read some lovely books, followed by the most amazing animal experience. 🐰🐍🦎❤️

Honestly, how incredible is it that a library puts on experiences like this for young children, young adults — and really, everyone — completely FREE of charge! 🙌🏼

The children had the absolute best time, and it was even more special getting to enjoy it all together with friends. So many smiles, laughter and beautiful memories made. 🥰

We really are so blessed to have something like this right not to far from us. ❤️

A beautiful day, wonderful friends, happy children and memories that will last a lifetime. What more could you ask for? 🌿✨

I could hear my Orlah shouting, but she sounded SO far away! 😂 I couldn't see her in the back room, and she wasn't in the kitchen… or so I thought!

Then I walked into the kitchen and found her half-wedged inside the washing machine! 🤦‍♀️😂

Apparently, this little one has discovered that if she shouts inside the washing machine, it makes an AMAZING echo… so naturally, the next logical step was to try and climb inside it! 🤣

Honestly, this girl drives me absolutely crazy sometimes! There is NEVER a dull moment with her. 😂❤️

Just when I think I've seen it all… she finds a new way to keep me on my toes! 😅

Life with this little character is certainly never boring! ❤️😂

🌅 GRATEFUL FOR ANOTHER DAY 🙏❤️

Waking up this morning is a blessing in itself. Another day. Another breath. Another opportunity to love, laugh, learn, grow and make memories with the people I love.

Sometimes we get so caught up in what we don’t have, what went wrong, or what we’re worrying about tomorrow, that we forget to be thankful for the greatest gift of all — today.

I’m grateful for my family, for my home, for the little moments that often mean the most, and most importantly, for God giving me another day to live out the purpose He has placed on my life.

I don’t know what today will bring, but I know I’m blessed to wake up and receive it. 🙏

“This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” — Psalm 118:24 ✝️

So today, I choose gratitude.
I choose joy.
I choose faith.
And I choose to make the most of this precious gift called life. ❤️

Thank You, Lord, for another day. 🙏✨

Sometimes the simplest moments with my beautiful Orlah feel like the greatest blessings. ❤️

Something as ordinary as brushing our teeth, getting ready for bed, laughing and doing the everyday things can feel incredibly precious when you know just how much God has brought your child through.

At just four months old, Orlah underwent open-heart surgery after being born with a complete atrioventricular septal defect (AVSD). ❤️‍🩹🙏🏼 By God’s grace, she came through it, and today she is happy, strong and full of life. She still has regular heart check-ups, so we never take her health for granted.

That’s why even something as simple as brushing her teeth matters so much. Good oral care is an important part of overall health, particularly for children with heart conditions, and children with Down syndrome can also be more prone to certain dental and gum problems.

We can’t eliminate every risk, but we can do everything within our control — teaching her healthy habits, caring for her teeth and gums, being mindful of what she eats and keeping up with her dental and heart appointments.

And then we place the rest in God’s hands. 🙏🏼

Because when I watch her doing something as ordinary as brushing her little teeth, I don’t just see a morning/bedtime routine.

I see God’s grace.
I see answered prayers.
I see a little girl who has already overcome so much.

The ordinary days are actually extraordinary blessings. ❤️

Thank You, Lord, for every single one of them. 🙏🏼✨
