Jeez Zolt, take a breath! 😂

We asked Zolt to give you a quick look around our predator section… Quick being the important word here 🤣

Blink and you’ll miss half of it 😲 rods, reels, lures, deadbait gear, terminal tackle, luggage, tools… we've got some serious tackle in this shop

If you’d like to watch Zolt at a slightly more civilised pace, you can find the full video over on our website 👇

But videos really don’t do this place justice

If you fish for predators, come and experience it for yourself at Independent Fishing Tackle in Doncaster

Just don’t ask Zolt to show you around if you’re in a hurry 😂

Always a pleasure to have Amanda Rowett in the shop

Amanda is one of our loyal customers who travels all the way up from Dorset to come and see us... around a 500-mile round trip to visit her favourite tackle shop 😲

But this visit was a little bit different, because since we last saw her she's gone and made angling history 🏆 Amanda has become the FIRST FEMALE ANGLER in the 120-year history of the Angling Trust Individual National Championship to win the title

And this wasn't a ladies-only event either! Amanda took on the full field on the Grand Union Canal and beat them all, weighing 5.275kg / 11lb 6oz over the five-hour match and beating runner-up Damien Green by just 325g

Her catch included around 50–60 skimmers and a cracking perch of around 4lb, with Amanda sticking to worm knowing there were predators in the Canal

As always, she left us with massive smiles and some massive deals

Just one of the customers who knows where the real tackle shop is 😉

Thanks Amanda, and a massive congratulations from all of us at Independent Fishing Tackle — until next time

🔥 HOT FOOD AND A PROPER BREW ON THE BANK — NO GAS REQUIRED! 🎣☕

The Wolf Grillz Biomaster Stove & EVA Carry Case is just £85!
Against the advertised RRP of £199.99, that’s a saving of £114.99! 💥

This clever portable stove burns solid fuels such as wood and biomass pellets, while a built-in USB-powered fan feeds air into the fire to help it burn efficiently. Connect an external power bank to run the fan — the fuel provides the cooking heat!

Whether you’re making that first morning cuppa or cooking a hot meal during a longer session, it’s a useful addition to your bankside cooking kit.

✅ No gas canisters required
✅ Stainless steel construction
✅ Folding feet and pot supports for compact storage
✅ Packs down to approximately 135mm × 235mm
✅ Protective EVA carry case INCLUDED
✅ Optional BBQ top available separately for even more cooking options

Your attached specification quotes around three minutes to boil 1.5–1.6 litres of water — actual times will depend on the fuel, cookware and conditions.

Stove AND carry case — £85! 🔥

Come and have a look in store.
Requires an external USB power source for the fan. For outdoor use only, following the manufacturer’s instructions and your fishery’s rules.

A freezer full of deadbaits, predator accessories everywhere you look and, yes, we’ve even got inflatable boats and outboard motors!

More importantly, we’ve got staff who actually get out there and use this gear. They fish for predators, they know the tackle and they catch fish 🎣 so if you need some advice, you’re speaking to lads who know what they’re talking about

So, if the start of October has got you thinking about getting out and targeting some predators, come and have a proper look around
