Nightshades is a small business manufacturing and selling (mostly) larger sized gothic and alternative clothing, based in Doncaster, (Yorkshire), UK. Sizes normally range from a UK dress size 18 upwards- but we do make some smaller sizes too as requested. Most of our stock is made in house, although some clothing is outsourced and/or imported into the country (mainly menswear and corsetry). We do
take custom commissions where possible and try to keep prices as affordable as possible, so don't be shy. I try not to charge additional fee's for standard designs which are altered to fit customers where possible. This is because I hate to see people being ripped off and exploited because of their size. General information
Kerry and Andy run Nightshades Clothing- Andy is a fabulous tech support and in charge of 3d printing and getting Kerry to events.... Kerry does pretty much all of the creative and admin side. We love it when people come up to us and say "you'll have nothing big enough to fit me"... it's a challenge, and they're generally very surprised when we show them things which are far bigger even than their own self image. HOURS:
There aren't any specified opening hours- as we tend to work fluctuating times-might be early-ish (like normal office hours), but more often its later in the day (lunch times) rolling into evenings (mostly as we do a lot of my online stuff in the late mornings). We'd love for you to come and visit, have a look around, try stuff on... have a coffee (or tea) and a chat. If you want to come and visit- it's best to just give us a heads up for times, so we can make sure we are there for you. And while we love surprise visits, we're not at the shop 24/7. (We also have full time jobs)
Where to buy our stock: I/we trade at Whitby Gothic Weekend... April and October/November in the Leisure Centre. If you'd like us to attend one of your events, please feel free to tell me/us about it. Wholesale: We don't wholesale to anyone at the moment, so you won't see any of our stock anywhere else... yet. Email us if you'd like to stock Nightshades Clothing. We will ship oversea's, so far items have gone to France, America, Canada, Denmark and Australia, among others.
