New stock - an antique Mettlach beer stein by Villeroy & Boch , dated 1903 and in good condition. The fine decoration depicts a hatted gentleman in a tavern alongside the contentious German motto ' The better the tavern, worse the woman. The worse the woman, the better the tavern'.

New stock - this wonderful mahogany pedestal desk in the manner of Thomas Chippendale exudes quality and appeal. It was crafted to the highest standard shortly before the outbreak of the First World War: we know this because its intricate locks by Chubb carry a date stamp for 2nd July 1914. A stunning desk that is designed to be used and admired for generations.

All steam ahead!! ..... can anyone please identify the paddle steamer in this charming 19th-century oil on panel?
It is still housed in its original frame, which requires restoration, but the painting itself, apart from needing a sensitive clean, is in good condition.

This much-loved 1960s Herbert Terry anglepoise desk lamp in cream is in remarkably good condition. Even the baize to its underside appears to be original.
