If you haven't met my planters yet, here's a little preview. I cast and paint every planter by hand in my Surrey workshop, from skulls and sculpted faces to my golden frog with a crown of purple Tradescantia. I hand select and hand plant every succulent, cactus and trailing plant that goes in them, so each piece goes home ready to enjoy.

I'm RHS qualified, so if you've got a plant that's struggling or you're not sure what would suit your windowsill, come and have a chat. I love talking plants!

Salisbury, see you on Sunday! 🌿

After a day in Sevenoaks, I'm packing up the van again and heading to the Wiltshire Biodiversity & Regenerative Food Festival in Guildhall Square. It's my first time trading in Salisbury, and a festival all about biodiversity and growing things well is a lovely place for my plants to be, because so many of them started life as seeds and cuttings in my own collection.

Come and meet the planters I've cast and painted for this weekend: a red and gold mushroom house with tiny windows and a little door, a regal lion with a spiky succulent crown, a sleepy angel cradling living stones, a little girl in a beret topped with a rosette succulent, a golden geometric bowl holding a fuzzy cactus, a bronze sphere with a young jade plant, and a cheeky fish with a speckled succulent. Every plant is hand selected and hand planted, and they make thoughtful gifts with Christmas not too far away.

Sunday, I’m heading to Salisbury! 🌿

After Saturday in Sevenoaks, Boba’s Plants is off to the Wiltshire Biodiversity & Regenerative Food Festival in Guildhall Square, and it’s my first time in Salisbury. I’d love to see some friendly faces.

I’m bringing a little fairytale mushroom house with a cosy succulent on the roof, a proud lion guarding his spiky green crown, a dreamy angel holding a handful of living stones, a sweet girl in her beret topped with a rosette succulent, a golden geometric bowl with a fuzzy cactus, a bronze moon pot with a jade plant, and my little fish friend too. On the table this weekend you'll find my hand cast Highland cow cradling a pair of living stones, a swirly snail with a jade plant on his back, a red and gold serpent egg overflowing with greenery, a sweet little fish holding a speckled succulent, and a whole family of pink faces planted with tiger jaws and echeverias. Every plant is hand selected and hand planted, and they make lovely gifts for anyone who loves something a little bit different.

As an RHS qualified grower, I love talking plants, so bring your questions, your plant worries and your windowsill dilemmas. I'll make sure you leave knowing exactly how to look after your new green friend.

A first for us 🌵 This Sunday and bank holiday Monday you will find Boba’s Plants at the Edenbridge and Oxted Agricultural Show for the very first time.
I am bringing the full range of cement and resin planters, all hand selected and hand planted with succulents and cacti. If you have never seen the stall before, come and have a proper look. I will be there both days and I love talking plants.

Stopped everything for this one. Tonight’s eclipse, glowing through the haze.

The same sun that keeps every plant on our bench alive, quietly disappearing for a few minutes.

Nature always wins.

A sleeping angel, a dinosaur, and a very small yellow face who is winking at you. All in a field in Wokingham. Today.

We are at Cantley Park for the SAFE Festival, saving abandoned and fly grazing equines. 10am to 4pm. RG40 5QG.

Here is what is coming with us:

The sleepy angel with a rose crown and a succulent halo. One of one.
The stone head with the wildest green hair at the whole festival.
The little yellow winker who has never had a bad day.
The lady with pink lips and a curtain of string of hearts.
And yes, a dinosaur carrying a pink fittonia on his back.
Once one walks off with somebody, that exact one is gone.

Come and meet them. Bring the kids. Bring the person who says they kill everything, because these are succulents and cacti and they genuinely do not mind being forgotten.
