A couple of 'in progress' shots for you - painting the black base colour, getting right inside this hand holding casting. And then once the base colour is dry, applying the top bronze wax finish.

Just look at the details in this hand that are really highlighted with the wax 😯🤩

The buckets for family hand holding castings are soooo heavy 💪🏼😁 it can be hard getting the filled alginate mould out - but once I've managed that part, I absolutely love unpeeling them to reveal the casting inside 🥰

I've completed lots of reframing jobs over the years. If you have had castings taken for your first baby and are now unable to get the same frame for your second baby - I can always do the new casting as well as reframe the older one, to give you a beautiful matching set 🥰

My two are back to school today - we've had a lovely Summer holiday and the house feels very quiet right now!!!

My eldest often worries about new things, but she loves cats so I've reminded her to be like a curious cat - it's ok to feel nervous and a little scared when walking through a new door, but be excited for the new adventures that lie ahead too ###
