Today is the last day of trading as after today, Catherine is retiring!
Very well deserved and can't wait to spend more time with her family especially her grandson!
13 years of trading almost to the day in the current shop, and before that 5 years down on Brook street where is all started, with jewellery making bits and beads to the shop everyone loved selling fascinators, clothes jewellery. Insense, oils body jewellery and giving Raven (me) a place to start piercing.
As Catherine's daughter I'm writing this to say I'm so incredibly proud of my mum. I've worked by her side since I was about 8 years old doing markets. And seeing my mum create this aladins cave has been inspiring. I am passing that on to Haytham As hes been coming to work with me since a month old. To have worked along side her in the same shop for 13 years has been such an experience and I couldn't wish for anyone else to work by, and forever grateful for the opportunity my mum gave me to now move and have a shop of my own. I love you mum ❤️
We have met some incredible people. Made some friends for life that have now become family
We have had some incredible memories surviving through covid been one of them!
In more recent years seeing my son walking around the shop has been so humbling.
We want to thank each and every single person who has walked through the doors and has supported us.
