CUSTOMER INFORMATION

A heads up on a small running race event (max. 60 people) taking place on 25th October , starting at 09:00 from Droitwich Rugby Club following Droitwich Canal, River Severn and Worcester & Birmingham Canal. Route attached, followed clockwise direction.

Runners will be made aware of any fishing activity and will be set off in small groups .

We have applied for event licence with Canals & Rivers Trust and ran the event back in Dec 2024 and several times before

UNFORTUNATELY, THERE HAS BEEN NO INTEREST SHOWN IN TAKING OVER THE BUSINESS. SO, SADLY, THE LAST TRADING DAY FOR THIS STORE WILL BE ON SATURDAY 1st NOVEMBER 2025.

I am incredibly grateful to the loyal customers that have supported my business over the past 25 years and I will retire reflecting on the great banter, friendships and the stories of lost and caught monsters from both young and old anglers. I’m sure I will miss it but I hope to see most of you when I’m out fishing myself or around the fisheries that are part of my other company, Aqua Fisheries Ltd.
Until then call in for a chat and take advantage of the huge clearance discounts available in store.
Fresh bait will continue to be available up to the closing date.

JUST A REMINDER.
I am open tomorrow, Bank Holiday Monday, 8.00am until 12.00.
Plenty of fresh bait and casters are waiting in the fridge and ready to go. Why not call in and browse the many items I have on clearance sale.

Our opening times, over the Bank Holiday weekend are as follows:-
Saturday 23rd. 7.00am. - 5.00pm
Sunday 24th. CLOSED
Monday 25th. 8.00am. - 12 noon.
Tuesday 26th. Back to normal hours.

It is with great sadness that a good friend of mine,and of the shop, lost his battle with Cancer this morning. Mark Newman was a force to be reckoned with on the river and loved his specimen Bream hunting on one of my lakes. Fly high my dear friend and maybe find that elusive 14 pounder in the big celestial lake.
RIP Mark.
