🐎 Original Rosemary O'Callaghan-Westropp Oil Painting – 1956 🐎

We're delighted to offer this beautiful original oil on canvas by the respected Irish sporting artist Rosemary O'Callaghan-Westropp (1896–1982).

Painted in 1956, this elegant horse portrait captures the strength and grace of its subject against a classic Irish landscape. O'Callaghan-Westropp specialised in equestrian art and painted many notable horses during her career, with her work regularly appearing in Irish auction houses including Whyte's, Sheppards, Adams and Fonsie Mealy.

Presented in a substantial deep gilt frame, the painting makes an impressive statement and would suit any home, country house, office, equestrian collection or sporting art enthusiast.
